MIAMI, March 17 (UPI) -- The Denver Broncos agreed to acquire wide receiver Jaylen Waddle through a trade with the Miami Dolphins, a league source told UPI on Tuesday.

The Broncos agreed to send the Dolphins the No. 30 overall pick, a third-round pick and a fourth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft in exchange for Waddle and a 2026 fourth-round selection.

Waddle, 27, joined the Dolphins as the No. 6 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He signed a three-year, $84.75 million extension with the Dolphins in 2024. He remains under contract through 2028.

Waddle caught 64 passes for 910 yards and six scores over 16 appearances last season for the Dolphins. He caught 373 passes for 5,039 yards and scored 27 total touchdowns over his five seasons with the Dolphins.
