Surveillance footage shows a gang of robbers raiding a California jewelry store where they made off with $1.7m in just over a minute.

Almost 20 masked and hooded individuals flooded Kumar Jewelers in Fremont in June 2025, in what authorities described as a “'mob-style takeover”.

Footage released by the Department of Justice shows the suspects armed with pickaxes and hammers as they raided the store, stealing gold, diamonds, and other jewelry in a 70-second raid.
