Michael B. Jordan was certainly not done winning after his heartfelt Oscars speech Sunday night.
Moments after accepting the award for Best Actor for his portrayal of the Smokestack Twins in “Sinners,” Jordan could be seen sharing a celebratory embrace with Leonardo DiCaprio, who was nominated in the same category for his performance in “One Battle After Another.”
It didn’t take long for DiCaprio’s “One Battle After Another” co-star, Benicio del Toro, to get in on the action as well. A Best Supporting Actor nominee, del Toro acknowledged Jordan’s win with a brotherly kiss on the fellow actor’s hand.
Video of the exchange between the three men drew gushing praise online, with many interpreting it as both a tender moment of solidarity and proof that DiCaprio and del Toro were not sore losers.
“Imagine crying tears of happiness on the shoulders of Leonardo DiCaprio. From winning a category y’all were both up for,” one person wrote on X. “I can’t.”
