Check your fridge: Costco has recalled a popular pre-made meatloaf meal kit sold in nearly 30 states because it may be contaminated with salmonella.
The meals, which contain meatloaf with mashed Yukon potatoes and glaze, were sold at Costco locations this month, according to a recall notice on the wholesaler's website.
An ingredient used in the meatloaf may be contaminated with salmonella, the recall notice says.
Salmonella is a bacteria that can contaminate food and make people sick. It is a leading cause of foodborne illness in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
USA TODAY has reached out to Costco and Griffith Foods Inc., the ingredient supplier involved in the recall.
