March 12 (UPI) -- CBS has ordered a second season of its Yellowstone spin-off Marshals, starring Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton.
The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline and Variety reported the news Thursday.
The series, which premiered March 1, has been a ratings hit for CBS and its streaming sister Paramount+
The first episode of the Montana action-drama was the most-watched new scripted series premiere without a football lead-in since FBI debuted in 2018, the network said.
The show also stars Yellowstone veterans Brecken Merrill, Gil Birmingham and Mo Brings Plenty as Tate, Thomas Rainwater and Mo.
