Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will deposit the third tranche of ‘PM Kisan - Annadata Sukhibava’ financial assistance of ₹6,000 each to eligible farmers as Ugadi gift. Mr. Naidu will release the funds at a function which will be held at Surampalli in Krishna district on February 14 (Friday).
Over 46.85 lakh farmers will be given Rs 6,000 each final assistance, an official release said. A total of ₹2,676 crore, including the State share of ₹1,874 crore, will be deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers.
Financial assistance of ₹20,000 to an eligible farmers’ family was one of the ‘Super Six’ promises and the State government had deposited ₹14,000 to each farmer in two tranches.
