The Gowd Saraswat Brahman Seva Sangh in association with Narayani Sangeeth Kala Kendra will organise Vasantha Sangeetotsava, an assembly of exceptional young artists here on Sunday.

It will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the air-conditioned Sujir C. V. Nayak Hall, Kudmul Ranga Rao Road, Kadri, Mangaluru, said Sangh President Kasturi Mohan Pai. He told reporters here on Thursday, that ‘Vasantha Sangeetotsava’ has been curated as a musical offering to invoke the joyful, divine, and auspicious essence of spring through classical melodies and to celebrate the beautiful season of blossoming creativity.

The highlight of the event will be captivating Hindustani Vocal recital by young artists, including Nandita Pai, Vibha Nayak, Shantheri Kamath and Megha Pai. Adding to the melodic evening will be a soul-stirring Bansuri recital by P. Karthik Bhat. They will be supported by accompanying artists, featuring Shrivatsa Bhat and Rajesh Bhagwat on Tabla, and Medha Bhat and Hemanth Bhagawat on Harmonium.

A unique feature of this year’s programme is the presentation of special Konkani compositions set to traditional classical Raagas. Dr. Kasturi Mohan Pai will be on the stage to perform as a guest artist.
