March 11 (UPI) -- Lionsgate is giving a glimpse of the new film Power Ballad.
The studio shared a trailer for the musical comedy Wednesday featuring Nick Jonas and Paul Rudd.
Power Ballad follows Danny (Jonas) and Rick (Rudd), a boy band star and a wedding singer who collaborate on new music. The pair clash after Danny makes one of the songs his own hit.
"When Rick, a past-his-prime wedding singer, meets fading boy-band star Danny during a gig, the two bond over music and a late-night jam session. But when Danny turns one of Rick's songs into the hit that reignites his career, Rick sets out to reclaim the recognition he believes he deserves -- even if it means risking everything he cares about," an official synopsis reads.
