As the new league year (officially) beckons, teams throughout the NFL have already begun reshaping their rosters.

The big names, at least by this year’s free-agency class standard, have by and large found new homes. But those aren’t the players discussed here. Beyond each high-profile signing are dozens of smaller moves made without as much fanfare. Their importance in matters of roster-building and championship aspirations, however, cannot be understated.

Which is why investing time in these under-the-radar signings is worthwhile. Here are five that have stood out as the legal tampering window continues ahead of 4 p.m. ET on March 11, when all of this can become official.

The Bears led the league in takeaways and turnover differential last season, and they likely will have to come close to mirroring that production in 2026 if they want a repeat of the success they experienced during the first year of coach Ben Johnson’s tenure. Enter Bryant, who had four interceptions (and three the season prior) for the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks last year. The 26-year-old plays like a converted cornerback – not a bad thing for a scheme that prioritizes turnovers. He can tackle. Safety Jaquan Brisker is likely on his way out but Bryant is a more-than-suitable replacement.
