LONDON: Syrian authorities have reported that 11 workers were injured in an Israeli drone strike near the town of Yohmor Al-Shaqif in southern Lebanon on Sunday.
A number of injured Syrians were taken to a hospital in Nabatieh for treatment after being struck while unloading poultry from a pickup truck at a farm, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency.
Several others were stranded for more than five hours before Lebanese Red Cross teams reached them.
The strike occurred during Israeli air raids on Lebanese towns which killed 33 on Sunday.
Israeli strikes across Lebanon since the start of March have resulted in nearly 400 deaths, including those of 83 children. They have also left more than 1,100 people injured.
