March 9 (UPI) -- The Indianapolis Colts agreed to a four-year, $114 million contract with wide receiver Alec Pierce, he confirmed Monday on social media.

Pierce is to receive $84 million in guarantees, including $60 million fully guaranteed at signing. The Colts confirmed the signing Monday, but did not disclose the terms of the pact.

Under the reported terms of his new deal, Pierce will become the highest-paid free agent wide receiver in NFL history.

Pierce, 25, was a second-round pick by the Colts in the 2022 NFL Draft. He hauled in a career-high 47 catches for 1,003 yards and six scores over 15 appearances last season. Pierce led the NFL in yards per catch each of the last two years, with 22.3 in 2024 and 21.3 in 2025.

The four-year veteran, who was set to hit free agency this week, totaled 157 catches for 2,934 yards and 17 scores over the first 64 appearances of his NFL career.
