March 9 (UPI) -- A Sunday fire in a Glasgow, Scotland, vape shop has shut down the city's neighboring central train station Monday morning, and services aren't likely to resume for a while.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said that the fire department was alerted at 3:46 p.m. GMT Sunday to reports of a fire in a four-story commercial building on Union Street.
"At its height, 18 appliances and specialist resources were mobilized," the spokesperson said in a statement at 6:30 a.m. Monday. "The incident has since been scaled back and nine appliances, including three high-reach vehicles, remain in attendance. There are no reported casualties."
Though the fire was under control Monday morning, the fire department still urged people to avoid the area. The train station is expected to stay closed at least through Monday, and some roads around the station were also closed.
