LONDON: Three Palestinians were killed and five others were injured on Sunday during a settlers’ attack on the village of Abu Falah, east of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that two residents of the village were killed. They were identified as Thaer Hamayel, 24, and Farea Hamayel, 57, both of whom had been shot in the head.
The settlers’ assault on Abu Falah was followed by an Israeli military raid, according to the Wafa news agency.
Mohammed Murra, 55, died in the hospital from cardiac arrest after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli forces during the raid to disperse residents who confronted the settlers.
Five Palestinians sustained live-fire injuries, including three to the head, one in the pelvis, and another in the shoulder, with the bullet exiting the neck.
