Andhra Pradesh State Commission for Scheduled Castes member Ravada Seetharam urged the officials and wardens of social welfare department to ensure the supply of nutritious food and maintain hygienic conditions in the hostels of Parvatipuram-Manyam district. He felicitated social welfare department officials and wardens on the occasion of International Women’s Day in Parvatipuram on Sunday (March 8, 2026). He urged parents to visit hostels regularly and interact with the hostel wardens to discuss the various challenges encountered while discharging their duties. Mr. Seetharam said that many children from the Dalit communities were able to pursue higher education due to the support of the government, which has constructed hostels in remote areas of Parvatipuram-Manyam district.
