A drug dealer who pointed a loaded gun at police officers and a member of the public in Salford has been sentenced to 14 years in prison.

Jay Conway, 33, of Leicester Walk, Salford, had evaded capture from two undercover Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers who saw him hand drugs to customers in Albert Park.

He was spotted with the firearm as he was chased, and aimed the 9mm slide action pistol in the direction of Pc Dan Clayton as he rolled onto the floor when felled by a Taser discharge.
