President Donald Trump cut one of his formerly most vocal allies, conservative podcaster Tucker Carlson, out of his MAGA movement following his brutal criticism over the administration’s joint military operation with Israel in Iran.
“Tucker has lost his way,” Trump told ABC News’ Jonathan Karl Thursday. “I knew that a long time ago, and he’s not MAGA.”
Carlson faced backlash from the president earlier this week over his fierce objection to Operation Epic Fury. The podcaster called the military strike “absolutely disgusting and evil” on Saturday.
Once a prominent supporter of Trump, Carlson has also blasted the administration over its handling of other issues, including Jeffrey Epstein’s case files and its relationship with Israel.
Trump responded to Carlson’s criticism on Rachael Bade’s Substack “The Inner Circle,” telling her the former Fox News anchor “can say whatever he wants; it has no impact on me.”
