March 5 (UPI) -- A suspect was arrested Thursday after three women's bodies were found in southern Utah, sparking a multi-state manhunt.
Two of the women's bodies were found in different locations on a hiking trail, and another was found in a home in Torrey, Utah, which is in the south-central area of the state. The women were not named, but the Utah Department of Public Safety said they were in their 30s, 60s and 80s.
The suspect fled in a victim's car through Utah, Arizona and Colorado, USA Today reported. Police found the abandoned white Subaru Outback in Pagosa Springs, Colo., in the southwest region of the state.
After a search, police found the suspect and arrested him without incident, the Department of Public Safety said. His identity has not been released.
Police continue to investigate the murders in the Lyman and Torrey areas in Wayne County, Utah.
