March 5 (UPI) -- Breanna Stewart scored 32 points, with 20 in the second half, to lead the Mist past the Phantom for the 2026 Unrivaled women's basketball title.
Stewart, the co-founder of the second-year, 3-on-3 league, made 11 of 15 attempts in the 80-74 triumph Wednesday at Sephora Arena in Medley, Fla. The Mist held a 56% to 47.4% shooting advantage over the Phantom, who were led by Kelsey Plum's 40 points.
Stewart and her teammates were awarded with $600,000 for their efforts.
"I think what I'll remember most about this Mist team is the fact that we may not always be the loudest, but we are definitely going to work the hardest and we really enjoy each other's company," Stewart said on the TNT and truTV broadcast. "Everybody came this year with a chip on their shoulder and we remembered that.
