In a letter to Gates, Comer said he believes the tech pioneer has “information that will assist” in the committee's investigation, and asked him to appear on May 19. Gates admitted to socializing with the disgraced New York financier, but said his decision to spend time with Epstein was a “huge mistake.”“I did nothing illicit. I saw nothing illicit,” the Microsoft co-founder reportedly said at a Gates Foundation town hall event last week.Six other people have been asked to testify as the committee continues its probe into Epstein and his accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.New targets include billionaire Leon Black and Goldman Sachs’s departing general counsel Kathryn Ruemmler.
