March 4 (UPI) -- Aryna Sabalenka accepted a marriage proposal from boyfriend Georgios Frangulis, the No. 1 women's tennis player in the world announced on Instagram.
Frangulis, the founder and CEO of the health food franchise Oakberry, popped the question Tuesday. Several fellow tennis stars, including No. 4 Coco Gauff, No. 6 Amanda Anisimova and men's No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and No. 8 Ben Shelton, commented on her Instagram post.
"You & me, forever...3.3.26," Sabalenka wrote for the caption of the social media post, featuring a video of the proposal.
Sabalenka later posted on her Instagram story, telling her followers she had "no idea" the proposal was coming Tuesday night. She also showed off a large diamond engagement ring.
