Candace Cameron Bure doesn’t want God to be all-seeing all the time.
The “Full House” alum admitted on her podcast Tuesday that there’s one thing about sex that really “weirds” her out. The moment occurred 27 minutes into the episode, as Bure’s guest, Bachelor Nation’s Madi Prewett, was attempting to unpack her complicated feelings about enjoying sex as a Christian who was raised within “purity culture.”
“A visual of God watching me having sex weirds me out,” Bure blurted out to Prewett.
“It totally just depends on your upbringing and what your past experiences have been or the things that you were taught as a kid, Bure later added. “I’m almost 50 and some of those adolescent thoughts never quite leave your mind or those high school teenage thoughts never quite leave your mind.”
Prewett told Bure she was “so real” for bringing up the image of God watching her in the act.
