"Hey Dorothea, do you ever stop to think about" how track eight on "Evermore" is about Selena Gomez?

The actress-singer confirmed Taylor Swift wrote the song about their friendship on her husband Benny Blanco's podcast "Friends Keep Secrets."

"'Dorothea' is about me," Gomez confirmed on the March 3 episode, explaining how the longtime friends grew up side-by-side in the spotlight. "I feel like a lot of huge moments that were self-defining, from relationships to family to love to hate, all of it in between, we were figuring it out because I was 15 and she was 18."

Fans have speculated "Dorothea" nods to Gomez because of the lyric, "You're a queen sellin' dreams / Sellin' makeup and magazines," which mirrors her Rare Beauty empire. At the time, neither artist confirmed the muse behind the song.

And "Dorothea" isn't the only Swift song inspired by their bond.
