American military forces have hit more than 1,000 targets in two days of attacks on Iran, including missile sites and command and control centers, the U.S. Central Command said March 1.
Iranian sites that were hit included government and military buildings in Tehran, and aerospace and defense hubs outside the capital.
Naval bases, Iranian ships, air bases, air-defense sites were also hit.
The Iranian attacks could last four weeks, President Donald Trump said in an interview with the UK’s Daily Mail.
“We figured it will be four weeks or so,” Trump said. “It's always been about a four-week process so – as strong as it is, it's a big country, it'll take four weeks, or less.”
