A Delhi court on Wednesday (February 25, 2026) extended the police custody of five Indian Youth Congress (IYC) workers, arrested in connection with ‘shirtless’ protest at the recently held AI summit, by four days.
Judicial Magistrate Ravi of Patiala House Court extended the custodial interrogation of the accused persons.

The Police have made eight arrests in the case so far. This includes the arrest of Krishna Hari, national secretary IYC from Bihar; Kundan Yadav, IYC State secretary of Bihar; Ajay Kumar, IYC State president of Uttar Pradesh; and Narasimha Yadav from Telangana and Jitendra Yadav from Gwalior in connection with the protest that took place last week.
