Feb. 24 (UPI) -- The Philadelphia Eagles "can't guarantee" wide receiver A.J. Brown will be on their roster next year, coach Nick Siranni told reporters Tuesday.

Sirianni and Eagles general manager Howie Roseman met with reporters in Philadelphia before heading to the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis.

"Will A.J. be here next season? I think we're still in a spot, like, I can't guarantee how anything is going to play out into next season," Sirianni said, according to ESPN. "I'm thinking I'm going to be the coach next season but you can't guarantee anything past tomorrow."

Sirianni also said his expectation is that Brown wants to stay he would like to keep the wide receiver with the Eagles.
