'The Uberization of crime': An 18-year-old became a contract killer after being recruited on Telegram

In April, a young man was shot in the head in broad daylight in a Lyon suburb. He had been recruited via the messaging app Telegram to guard a drug-dealing spot, just like his alleged murderer. The killing was filmed and broadcast on Snapchat. The person who ordered the crime has yet to be identified.
