Trump Says He'll Impose 10% Global TariffPresident Donald Trump said he'll be imposing an across-the-board 10% global tariff now that the Supreme Court has struck down his use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, or IEEPA."Today, I will sign an order to impose a 10% global tariff under Section 122, over and above our normal tariffs already being charged," Trump said at a press briefing.But Section 122, a federal law, limits tariffs to 150 days unless extended by legislation."We're using things that some people thought we should have used in the first place, but it's more complicated," Trump said later.
