Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Toronto FC agreed to a transfer with Norwich City to acquire Josh Sargent.
Sources told The Athletic, Sky Sports and the BBC on Friday that the deal is expected to be worth nearly $27 million.
Sargent, 26, totaled eight goals and three assists over 24 appearances this season for the Canaries (11-15-6), who sit in 17th place in the Championship. He found the net 15 times and logged five assists in 33 appearances in 2024-25.
Sargent, a Missouri native, joined the Canaries in 2021. He totaled 56 goals and 15 assists over 155 appearances for the club. He missed the Canaries' last eight games after being sent to train with their Under-21 squad. Sargent remains under contract through 2028.
