Movie marathons, buttered popcorn and late-night secret sharing are hallmarks of childhood friendship. There’s nothing like a sleepover, and as adults, there’s no reason that has to change.
At least, that's how some people on the internet feel. A content creator posted a TikTok making a case for sleepovers as a way to connect with friends.
But what happens when a relationship enters the picture?
“Everyone started getting into relationships and they stopped having sleepovers with their friends,” content creator Eric, who goes by @barmitzvah.dancer, said in a TikTok that received nearly 26,000 views. “It's a huge mistake.”
“You should be doing it until late, you should be staying up until at least 1 a.m., and you should be going to sleep in the same bed together, potentially cuddling if that’s something you like to do with your friends, wake up, and have breakfast together," he continued. "You shouldn’t be cutting the hangout short."
