Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Rapper Janarious Mykel Wheeler, who performed under the name Lil Poppa, has died in Georgia at the age of 25.
Fulton County Senior Medical Examiner Investigator Brian Jost Reents told EW.com the manner and cause of the "Love & War" and "Purple Hearts" singer's death are pending investigation.
TMZ reported that the hip-hop artist was pronounced dead Wednesday morning, but offered no other details about the circumstances.
Wheeler released an album called Almost Normal Again in August and his latest song, "Out of Town Bae," was released last Friday.
