The Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday welcomed the State government's decision to extend the operational timing of bar hotels across the State from 10 a.m. to midnight. In a press release, the chamber said that it has been consistently representing this matter before the government to support the hospitality, tourism and event industries. The move will significantly strengthen Kerala's position as a premium tourism destination and improve the operational viability of star hotels and hospitality establishments.
