Competition started on Feb. 4. The opening ceremony took place at the iconic San Siro Stadium in Milan and featured performances by Mariah Carey, Andrea Bocelli and Laura Pausini, among others.
The Games will conclude on Feb. 22 with the closing ceremony at the historic Verona Arena, a Roman amphitheater and UNESCO World Heritage site in the heart of Verona.
