The Route du Rock Winter Collection
Poster for the Route du Rock festival.
Typically held in August at the open-air arena of the Fort de Saint-Père, near the coastal city of Saint-Malo in northwestern France, the Route du Rock festival has moved indoors for its winter edition to the more intimate Nouvelle Vague concert hall. The festival maintained the same appetite for legendary acts and the most exciting new talents in indie rock and experimental pop. While the March 5 show (featuring Heavy Lungs, Green Star, Anastasia Coope and others) has already sold out, tickets are still available for the March 6 event, showcasing the high-profile hardcore diva Jehnny Beth, underground hip-hop pioneers Dälek and the dynamic British punk-rapper Shortstraw.
