The chair of the Central Elections Committee, Supreme Court Deputy President Justice Noam Sohlberg, is hearing a request to prohibit the disclosure on Election Day of the names of Israelis who have not yet voted. This is following a practice whereby election observers from parties report to their parties from the polling station the names of citizens who have actually voted, allowing party representatives to know which of their supporters have exercised their right to vote.
