Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Friday laid the foundation stone for a “Mega Chola Museum” at Thanjavur through video conference from Chennai.
The museum complex would come up on a 50-acre land belonging to the Tamil University, Thanjavur, with access from the Medical College Road. The building with ground plus two floors to house the museum would be built at a cost of ₹56.41 crore.
