GOP Senator Slams Trump Effort To Indict 6 Democratic LawmakersSen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) criticized the Trump Department of Justice for seeking a federal grand jury indictment against six Democratic lawmakers who had made a video last year urging active duty troops to refuse illegal orders."Political lawfare waged by either side undermines America's criminal justice system, which is the gold standard of the world," Tillis wrote Wednesday in an online post. "Thankfully in this instance, a jury saw the attempted indictments for what they really were.
