RIYADH: Britain's Prince William on Tuesday met with female footballers, played video games and chatted with customers at a cafe during his visit to Saudi Arabia.

On his second day of his tour of the Kingdom, the British royal visited an urban regeneration project, watched football drills with local girls' youth squads and then dropped by an e-sports tournament.

During a visit to a sports complex in Riyadh, the prince showed off his own skills and netted two goals while visiting with the footballers, according to footage posted by the British broadcaster Sky News.

He also met with Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal and Saudi Esports Federation chairman Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan.

William arrived in Riyadh on Monday evening and was received by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
