Lawmakers are calling on Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to resign after more details were revealed about his ties to the late sex trafficker Jeffery Epstein.
A recent dump of documents related to the investigation into Epstein revealed Lutnick and his family accepted an invitation to visit Epstein's island in 2012, and that Lutnick and Epstein had met for drinks in 2011. Lutnick had previously said he'd cut off contact with Epstein in 2005, saying he "was never in the room with him socially, for business or even philanthropy" and "spent zero time with him."
