Those wishing to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year might want to be aware that the romantic holiday falls one day after Friday the 13th.

Feb. 13 marks the first Friday the 13th this year. There are three in 2026.

The last time Friday the 13th immediately preceded Valentine’s Day was in 2015. Galentine's Day is also on Feb. 13. The holiday offers a chance to celebrate gift giving with friends.
