Feb. 9 (UPI) -- The Boston Red Sox acquired Rookie of the Year finalist Caleb Durbin through a six-player trade with the Milwaukee Brewers, they announced Monday.
The Brewers also agreed to send fellow infielder Andruw Monasterio, infielder/catcher Anthony Seigler and a competitive balance Round B selection in the 2026 MLB Draft to the Red Sox.
The Red Sox will send left-handed pitchers Kyle Harrison and Shane Drohan and infielder David Hamilton to the Brewers.
"I really like a lot of what Caleb brings to the table, strong defender, strong bat-to-ball skills, really versatile right-handed hitter," Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow told reporters.
