Speaking at the opening of the forum, the top Iranian diplomat says, “Palestine is the defining question of justice in West Asia and beyond”, adding: “It is the strategic and moral compass of our region.”
He stressed that the issue of Palestine is a “test of whether international law has meaning, whether human rights have universal value, and whether the global institutions exist to protect the weak or merely to rationalise the power of the strong”.
