JD Vance cheered on the U.S. women Thursday in their first hockey match of the Winter Olympics ― but many TV viewers jeered back at the vice president.
The NBC/Peacock camera panned on occasion to Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio watching the Americans play Czechia in Milan.
That was enough airtime for many.
Someone on X wanted to “GAG!!” Another instinctively booed at the TV. One viewer threatened to turn off the tube if the broadcast kept showing the veep.
