Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) tore into President Donald Trump’s administration for failing to hold Jeffrey Epstein associates accountable while calling former President Bill Clinton and wife Hillary Clinton’s upcoming congressional testimony about the late sex offender essential to the “integrity” of the investigation.
The progressive firebrand and 2028 presidential prospect told MeidasTouch the inquiry wouldn’t result in real justice without “bipartisan” involvement but slammed Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice over the lack of prosecutions related to Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking operation.
“I think it’s important that the integrity of this investigation,” she said of the Clintons’ testimony during an interview on the steps on congress late Monday.
Saying ongoing revelations about of Epstein’s high-profile orbit and who may have known about his crimes are “uniting and shocking the American people across partisan lines,” Ocasio-Cortez added, “I think that everyone with information needs to participate in a investigation that opens so many questions.”
But the congresswoman had her own questions for Bondi and the DOJ, asking why the government was “continuing to hide the majority of the Epstein files” despite their own admission the documents contain “direct evidence of shocking” a vast and disturbing criminal conspiracy.
