Two-time US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau is arguably the biggest name on the LIV Golf circuit

LIV Golf players will be awarded world ranking points during 2026 after a new ruling made by the board of the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR).

However, its players may still not be happy because points will only be given to the top 10 finishers and ties in the 57-man field.

In all other men's professional golf tours that are part of the OWGR, all players who make the cut earn points.

In a statement, the OWGR board said it was awarding points "in an effort to reflect the changing landscape of the men's professional game".
