CORTINA, Italy — Lindsey Vonn has never done anything halfway.

That’s not about to change now.

Vonn said Tuesday that she plans to ski at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina despite a torn ACL and meniscus damage in her left knee. It’s not the scenario she imagined or hoped for, not in a season where she has redefined what is possible when you live boldly.

But if the choice is to wallow or pick herself up yet again, that’s not really a choice at all.

“As many times as I’ve crashed, I’ve gotten back up. As many times as I’ve failed, I’ve won,” Vonn said.
