“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert said the newly released files related to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein had some “completely random” redactions.
In one case, Colbert noted, a photo that was obviously President Donald Trump had been edited to obscure only his face:
“Who could it be?” Colbert asked in mock puzzlement.
Another redaction was even more baffling.
“In one document, they’ve redacted both the sender and recipient of an email that says, ‘I wanted you to know I made your chili for Super Bowl Sunday, and it was a winner. Everyone loved it, and I gave you credit,’” Colbert said.
