"A man is sleeping inside with his wife – and they burn the house down," recalls a resident of the West Bank Bedouin community of Mukhmas. He's standing at the center of a room with charred walls. On the floor around him are the burned box springs on which the man's uncle and aunt were sleeping that night in mid-January.
