As of early last week, Israel was holding 766 bodies of Palestinians who have been identified and at least another 10 bodies of known foreign nationals. Most of the 776 were killed by Israeli security forces while they either carrying out an attack – ranging from shooting to stone-throwing – being suspected of doing so, or while committing a suicide attack.
