SiriusXM is set to pay millions to settle a lawsuit claiming the company repeatedly called people who were on do-not-call lists.

The 2022 lawsuit claimed that people who had entered their names on the National Do Not Call Registry or told the satellite radio company not to call them were contacted after doing so. The registry, available for free, allows the public to opt out of telemarketing calls and report violations to the Federal Trade Commission.

SiriusXM denied wrongdoing in the agreement but agreed to a $28 million settlement, originally filed in October 2025, to settle the claims.

Here's what to know about the SiriusXM settlement.

The deadline to file a claim is March 21, while the deadline to file an objection to the settlement is March 27. A final approval hearing, where the court may hear objections to the settlement, is set for May 11.
