Even as actor-turned-politician Vijay’s fans are more than anxious to know whether his much awaited last movie Jana Nayagan would get released before the upcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry or not, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has refused to reveal any information.
When contacted to know the authenticity of information floating around in film circles that the production house KVN Productions LLP had agreed for a reference to the review committee, CBFC Chennai Regional Officer D. Balamurali said, the law prohibits sharing of any information related to the certification process.
